Stanley Clarke bass lesson
Almost 30 years ago I got to take a couple of bass lessons from my mentor and friend, Stanley Clarke. This piece of manuscript paper written in the master's hand was one of my homework assignments. I managed to hold onto it all of these years. When I bought my first house this year with the money I made playing bass I asked Stanley to sign it, hence the "I told you so!" Today I framed it and hung it in the house. Thanks, Stanley! You were right....
